Snowstorms and severe cold weather in the United States have raised concerns about the shutdown of the Permian Basin, the largest shale oil producing area, and the geopolitical tension continues. The international oil price has reached a new high in more than seven years. NYMEX crude oil futures 03 contract 92.31, up 2.04 USD / barrel, or 2.26%; Ice oil distribution futures 04 contract rose 2.16 USD / barrel or 2.37% at 93.27.

The external price of pure benzene rose slightly, and the Chinese market was closed due to the Spring Festival holiday, so the transaction was temporarily less. Some of the factories in Shandong refining and refining industry decreased their burden, and the supply of pure benzene decreased, and the price of pure benzene in Shandong Province increased significantly. As of February 6, the spot price of pure benzene in Shandong Province rose to 8200 yuan / ton, 500 yuan / ton higher than that before the festival.

Crude oil and pure benzene prices rose during the festival. After the resumption of trading, the listing of pure benzene and pure benzene in East China may rise, and caprolactam cost support will continue to be strong.

In terms of caprolactam supply, the Winter Olympic Games had little impact on the overall production of factories in the north. Only a few enterprises reduced the burden slightly, while other enterprises mostly produced normally. The specific statistics are as follows:

Caprolactam is mainly affected by the cost support logic after the festival. When the price of pure benzene rises sharply, caprolactam may follow. Downstream demand needs to pay attention to the process of terminal resumption and the follow-up of procurement rhythm.
