Trading prices continued to rise.

The increase is at 10-20 rupees / maund, due to the expansion of the forward delivery demand of the exporters, and the increase in the volume of cotton purchase in the near future.


Market participants say exporters are buying large quantities.

So far, 175 thousand bales of cotton have been sold in the north of India, while India has sold 1 million 200 thousand bags nationwide.

Due to continuous rainfall, the time for India's northern cotton to arrive in the market may be delayed.

Only 40000-50000 bales of cotton arrived in September, the industry said, and the number of shipments will increase in October.


The spot price of Punjab is 3485-3535 rupees / maund.

Harry Yann Bong Se Shah (Sirsa) and Fatah Hubbard (Fatehabad) cost 3470-3510 rupees / maund, Rajasthan market price 3330-3380 rupee / maund.


In Punjab, after October, the price was 3310-3315 rupees / maund, 3265-3270 rupees / maund in November, and 3260 rupees and 3230 rupees / maund in October and November respectively.
